Joanne Brattain
Executive Board Member
Joanne Brattain is an active community volunteer and retired hi-tech marketing executive. She currently serves on the Utah Commission on Service and Volunteerism. She was a founding member of the Advisory Board for the Southern Utah Museum of Art and was the 2019 recipient of the Bessie Jones Volunteer of the Year award from the Utah Museum Association.
She serves as Outreach Coordinator for Angel Flight West, visiting hospitals and clinics to ensure they know of this free service, and also coordinates the Annual Santa Flight. She chairs a seven-person board, whose role is to evaluate requests from local arts groups and make recommendations to City Council for allocating the funds for the local RAP tax.
She retired from Documentum/EMC as Vice-President of Americas Field Marketing. Prior experience was in various software companies, with global responsibility, building teams, launching new initiatives, and developing training programs.
She and her husband Chuck Hohos live in Cedar City. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, attending the theatre, tennis, and reading.
